Gujo Odori is Japanese traditional festival in Gujo Gifu for over 400 years. Especially, This is famous as all night dancing festival. We directed and designed Gujo Mokuri -Bramd of Japanese wooden clogs- for Gujo Odori with craftsman in Gujo Gifu.
Gujo geta is in used a Japanese cypress because of make good sound, to cut from a lump of cypress for durability. the height of clogs refer to much better for a standing figure. The strap of clogs made by traditional resource in Gujo as well. "Traditional silk screen" and "Gujo honzome" and "Koginzashi". Package design also use the resource. The strap made by same strap as the clogs. And it has an aromatic made by wood chips of cypress in the package.

岐阜県郡上市では、『郡上踊り』という400年続く伝統文化がある。下駄を鳴らして徹夜で踊り続ける「徹夜踊り」は特に有名である。そのための踊り下駄を作る職人さんと一緒に郡上木履のブランディング、商品デザインでお手伝いさせていただいた。
郡上の下駄は音にこだわってヒノキを選び、一塊の木から削り出すことで強度を、そして踊りの立ち姿が美しく見える高さで作られています。鼻緒も郡上の伝統文化であるシルクスクリーン技術を応用した鼻緒、郡上本染鼻緒、こぎん刺し鼻緒などすべてメイドイン郡上である。パッケージも郡上産であることにこだわり、引手は下駄の前緒を使い、パッケージの中にはヒノキの木くずで作られた芳香剤を入れています。
