Suchmos “IN THE ZOO”

In The Zoo” is the lead theme of Suchmos’ 3rd Full Album “THE ANYMAL.” The lyrics “we’re just animals” is an “analogy of animals, including ourselves, struggling in between reason and instinct.” It is an epic piece in which Suchmos added a new dimension to rock and blues in a way that only Suchmos in their current state can, and also inspired the album title “THE ANYMAL.” Kento Yamada, famous for Suchmos works, directed.

Suchmos 3rd Full Album 『THE ANYMAL』のリード曲「In The Zoo」。「自分たちも含めて理性と本能の間で葛藤している動物」に例えたという「We’re just animals」という歌詞と共に、ロックやブルースを現在のSuchmosならではの視点で切り拓いた壮大なナンバーで、アルバム・タイトル『THE ANYMAL』のキッカケにもなっている。撮影は、Suchmos作品ではお馴染みの山田健人が務めている。
